Never Give Up: Overcoming Obstacles to Reach Your Destination by Brandawn Liddell "B-Dawn Music"
One of my greatest strengths growing up was always writing down my goals and vision. My greatest weakness was not noticing those goals and visions when they were right in front of me. I've had times when I gave in to arguments with others or temptations that affected me years later, along with my goals and vision. I've come to realize at age 34, that darkness doesn't care about me until I begin to move forward in the direction of the goals I write down.
That means that the moment I began to start a business, promote a non-profit program or I start to move forward to bring change to my own community, I find turbulence with my family, or I can't get along with my peers or business partners. If there is anything you can do as a young person, young adult or even older adult is choose not to panic, and definitely don't give up. There will be obstacles. Some of which could be with your friends, others may be on your job or even in church (if that's a place you find hope). You have to make a decision stand firm and not feed back into the universe the negativity that comes to you.
It is important to make a decision to continue to sow good seeds into people's lives whether they are apart of the obstacles you face or apart of the success. It can be difficult, but what is the worth in achieving if there has been no difficulty to teach you and help you develop and learn? Friends come and go, parents may not always understand what you're going through, but if you keep your dreams, goals and vision in front of you and choose to not give in to the temptation to lash back out at the people who have tried to hinder you, you will make it to your destination and learn from those challenging experiences. Trials come and it simply means you are doing the right thing. You will know how to handle obstacles and see yourself completing more goals after you've achieved the ones before.

This was an inspiring post. Often times when we're young, we don't think about the future ramifications of our actions now. I mean, we should always be forward-thinking in that sense if we have goals we want to achieve. This post highlighted that well.

Yes! I'm the same way. If it's not written down it doesn't exist to me. I need to see tangible ways to acheive my goals. "It is important to make a decision to continue to sow good seeds into people's lives whether they are apart of the obstacles you face or apart of the success." I'm learning to not get so caught up in my own struggle that I lose sight of my purpose that is sowing good seeds into others life.
ReplyDeleteVery true. The reward is not in the manifestation itself. It is in the journey of bringing a thing to manifestation that we source all the blessings/lessons. It is through all of the processes and circumstances, trials and tribulations, wins and losses that we conjure up all the energy to
ReplyDeletemake the manifestation of the dream/goal valuable and worthy.
