Toxic Relationships by J Nehemiah Washington
Well hello there....
I’m here to talk about toxic relationships and when it’s time to let go.
Toxic people can be so draining to your overall spirit and keep you from getting where you’re going.
People who say they’re your friends, but their actions say different. For example, you need them for some task that’s really important to you. You call, text, and email about your event and they cancel on you last minute. Now imagine that happening on a day like an interview where you need a ride. THAT CAN COST YOU AN OPPORTUNITY!!
Another if every time you get every time you spend time together you end up feeling bad afterwards. Unfortunately, some people make themselves feel better by putting others down. They will continue the same behavior unless something changes. If you find yourself in that situation, the relationship is probably toxic and needs to end.
Here are a two ways of removing that person from your circle:
Sit down and have a serious conversation with them.
Let them know that their behavior is impeding from your goals.
Or if their confrontational
Slowly disassociate yourself from them. Stop answering their phone calls, texts emails.
